For the past 5 years, TentMeals have been crafting delicious meals that don’t compromise on anything. They’re healthy, high energy, nutritious, and take up just half the space of traditional freeze-dried meals. No faff, no hassle, no nasty additives - just high energy health when you most need it.
In precise 800 kcal and 500 kcal packs with heaps of complex carbs, protein and fibre from natural ingredients, these meals are nutritionally balanced to fuel long days and to maximise muscle recovery.
The packaging is ultra lightweight (just 3g per pack!), and fully recyclable.
Their lightest meal (the 500kcal Almond Jalfrezi - which also won the "High in Fibre 2018” Category from the Outdoor Food Club) checks in at just 111g, and is smaller than your smartphone.
Originally thought of while cycle touring in the depths of Alaska (and having to carry heavy food as Jess couldn't find any good expedition food), the people at TentMeals have since been working hard to fill the gap for a healthy and practical camping meal.
Of course the story does not end here - new recipes are always underway, as are improvements to existing meals to make them even tastier, healthier, and easier to use.
